On December 27, 2019, they changed the building system to a newer and more functional version of the building platform within ISW. Instead of using resources, they require credits. There are no longer tiers, but levels of buildings to make it easier to build instead of building each tier, break it down to build second tier and so forth. This allows the player to build up his planets literally compared to the last version. The building time ranges per building and comprises 1000-15000 credits per level with a middle time of 120 seconds too a few hours. This varies very much, as there are still several buildings for each requirement to build the next. Workers, power and space expanders are still in the game. Factories are now on NON-ACTIVE. The credit income comes from mining resources (with building “Mine” or by ship) to be sold at any starbase.

Buildings cost credits. There are levels of buildings. This allows the player to build up his planets literally compared to the last version.

To build on a planet, moon or asteroid, you must have a ship with a builder module in it. You arrive at the planet and build 1 space expander from there you build power plants, colonies, more space expanders, weapons, shields, mines varying to your desires. As of now, there is no min/max available.

Current building resource requirements (power, workers, and space) do not (for now) count in the added requirements of the buildings that are in the queue. You can queue up to 5 building orders. Keep in mind that the cost of the buildings will increase the more levels you build it.

They display the exact stats of the buildings in the building menu’s themselves.

Canceling a queued building will return 100% of the cost back to the player.
